With over 100 years of family history, we feel it is of the utmost importance to keep our Long Island economy thriving. Just as we at Island Casket feel strongly about the Long Island economy and the families that live here, so we feel about this Great Country! We believe enough money has been sent overseas and out of our economy and that whenever possible, we should work hard to keep our dollars here in America. Buying overseas may save us a few dollars, but in the long run, it will cripple us! When many distributors were switching to cheap import products and abandoning their local suppliers, we refused to do so. We felt staying loyal to our American suppliers who had treated us well for many decades, was the right thing to do. Although, at first, this made it difficult for us to compete, it did give our suppliers time to restructure and make adjustments, making it possible for us to compete in this highly comptitive market. We feel proud that we stayed loyal and helped keep American dollars going to America families. Let's keep America strong.... buy American.
